We went to the Mid-West to visit Jim's family over Labor Day weekend; which was a really long time ago! Traveling with two little ones is always interesting. We had long days, off nap/bedtime schedules and a few tantrums. But it was of course all worth it. We had a really nice time. While there we went to an apple farm called Apple Holler and Lincoln Park Zoo. The girls really enjoyed themselves. Gracie was brave enough to feed the goats!

This was really cool. We got to see the polar bear under water. The girls got a kick out of this!

Cute pics! I'd like to go to Chicago some day. Well, I was technially there once for 24 hours but I didn't get to see much but I did taste some deep dish pizza. :)

ReplyDeleteThe Zoo picture is priceless...the goat picture (with Gracie) reminds me of when my friend Ruth Ann and I took you and her son Christopher to the petting zoo at Kelly Park (I think or maybe it's Happy Hollow - been too long ago to remember for sure). ANYWAY, you kept hugging the little baby goats. It was so cute although it was very annoying to the goats :)
