It's Not Working!

Gracie is really into saying "hi" or waving at random people nowadays (unless she is feeling "shy") The funny thing is, is when people do not respond to her for one reason or another she turns to me and says "It's not working!" I'm guessing she thinks they're broken or something when they don't say hi back or wave. She is a funny little girl! (oh, and that's shaving cream on her nose thanks to daddy!!)

Happy L-O-V-E Day!

Happy Valentine's Day!! Now that I have a blog I thought it would be nice to get Valentine's Day pictures and post them, but of course our camera finally decided to poop out on us this morning. So I have to make do with some random pictures. However, Gracie's picture is of her getting her daddy's gift ready... so I suppose it's kind of V-dayish. We hope everyone is having a wonderful love day and are enjoying their weather as much as we are! (btw, not sure what is up with this underlining! It just started to do it :)

There's a Doctor in the House

Well I guess she's not really in the house, but we did have Emily's 10 month check up today. Poor little thing had to undergo 4 shots today! She did a little wail at first then was able to put herself back together just in time for the next one. Then it was down hill from there. She now weighs 20 lbs and 2 oz and is 31 in. long. According to the doctor she is the same length as an average 15-16 month old! We've got a tall girl on our hands! Or as Jim would say, "We've got a future volleyball player in the house!"

Did I just start a blog?

Blogging started for me when my sister started a blog a few years back and then my mom. My excuse for not starting one was that I don't have time to bother with one. But the truth is, I'm just not as witty as my mom or sister and I know that my blog could not compete with theirs. But here I am anyways giving it a whirl! The main purpose of this blog is to post pictures and keep family and friends updated on my two little peas in a pod; Gracie and Emily. Now I can't promise a posting everyday nor every week, but I will certainly try my hardest! Until next time...
